About This Trip

"Adventure in the Highlands” is a trip that will combine some of the most iconic places in the Icelandic South Coast with uncharted places in the heart of the Arctic island. With travel in a lifted super-van and accommodations in mountain huts, unique hotels, yurts, and even sheep-barn turned bunkhouse, you’re sure to see all the highlights in the country of “Fire and Ice”.

Experience the picturesque Blue Lagoon and indulge in the face masks from the earth, travel some of the famous Ring Road, and explore one of the most beautiful beaches in the world covered in icebergs.

Get off the beaten path with hikes to beautiful colored lakes, black deserts, and red mountains. We will discover the black sand beach, several waterfalls across the South Coast, and even a mysterious plane wreck. We include a glacier hike, kayaking among icebergs in the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, and an ice-cave hike to complete this unforgettable itinerary.

Itinerary is subject to change due to group size and availability.
