About This Trip

Experience the heart of Africa on our youth humanitarian trip to Tanzania, where majestic wildlife, vibrant culture, and meaningful service create a truly unforgettable journey. From the sweeping savannas to the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania offers the perfect backdrop for exploration and impact.

During this trip, youth will participate in powerful service projects that directly benefit local women and children. They’ll help construct the ROAM Women’s Shelter, providing safe and supportive spaces for vulnerable populations. Teens will assist in a clean water project at the orphanage, ensuring long-term health and access. Female youth will also lead menstruation education workshops and provide women’s health training—empowering girls and women with knowledge and dignity for a brighter future.

Tanzania is bursting with adventure—from spotting elephants, lions, and giraffes on an African safari to hiking to stunning waterfalls and enjoying an energetic acrobatic show. Youth will dive into local life through an immersive tribal cultural experience, gaining a deeper understanding of Tanzanian traditions and community. With each day combining hands-on service, personal growth, and awe-inspiring exploration, this trip delivers a powerful blend of impact and adventure that defines our youth humanitarian experiences in Africa.

All accommodations are in 3-4 star facilities that have been vetted by our in-country partners and ROAM Humanitarian to ensure they are clean and safe for our participants.
